THE PROBLEM

The YMCA Andrew & Walter Young Family Center’s aging signage and donor recognition system no longer reflected its updated brand, creating an inconsistent visitor experience and diminishing donor recognition.

THE SOLUTION

Developed a cohesive environmental graphics system aligned with updated YMCA brand standards, including a redesigned sign family, wayfinding documentation, and a refreshed history wall to improve navigation, recognition, and the overall visitor experience.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

The redesigned history wall became a meaningful focal point for the center and its community. During Black History Month, civil rights leader and former U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young visited the YMCA to see the completed wall, creating a special connection between the project, his legacy, and the community it represents.
